Tombouctou is the French name for Timbuktu, a city in central Mali.
I have been to Timbuktu several times; usually arriving after a three day boat trip up the Niger river. Timbuktu is a smallish city, literally in the middle of nowhere, with a treasure trove of UNESCO listed sights.

Tombouctou font is a handmade brush font. It is nice and elegant and will give your designs an ‘oriental’ touch.

Two times awarded on Bienal Tipos Latinos 2012 and 2014, Radal is one of the most expected releases for all those who know well the latin american type scene. Inspired by the capricious and temperamental southern Chile geography and the beauty of its landscapes Sergio Leiva develops an expressionist typeface with a very humanist feeling, taking its Czechs and Venetian references a step further by creating an unpredictable mix of forms and proportions which later craft almost to domestication in order to fulfil its purpose of developing an expressionist non disruptive text typeface.

Radal looks extremely well balanced in long text settings at the time that embellish the page with a scent of calm wilderness. On display use, shines on its irregular nature plenty of unexpected forms and counter forms. The Radal family is composed by 7 styles plus matching italics and a set of over 1400 glyphs (1600 on italics) full of ligatures, alternates, swashes, ornaments, small caps, symbols and a complete arsenal of typographic resources for your delight.

This is an extension of Alquitran, but now converted into a family from the Thin to the Black Line, it contains dingbat, inspired by the Pichação!

Jacklyen is a modern hand-drawn typeface. It has a elegant, classy look, catchy, readable and cool. This font is perfect for giving your branding projects, font for fashion, apparel projects, and goth vibe, but also works great for other projects like posters, packaging, advertising, headlines, social media, branding, signage and anything where you want that urban look and feel.

Waiting For My Girl comes from a System of a Down song (Hypnotize). I was listening to it when I created this font and I liked the name!
Waiting For My Girl is a script font - it’s quite loose and uneven, just like proper hand writing. It comes with double letter ligatures and a lot of character!

Kisba is a brand new serif typeface that operates to arouse attention. As contrasts are known to attract each other, Kisba combines sharp, triangular serifs and spiky outgoing strokes with round and soft ball terminals. It’s a typeface driven by visual contrast.

Kisba’s extraordinary design of thin and monolinear diacritics, selected punctuation marks and symbols creates a modern and elegant atmosphere. With extravagant letters like the f, k and x, Kisba is primarily labeled as a typeface for display usage or shorter texts, that catches the reader’s eyes.

The typeface exists in seven weights from Thin to Black offering plenty of possibilities to set texts and headlines. With about 600 Characters per weight, Kisba contains Open Type Features like an extended set of ligatures and language support, case sensitive forms, different sets of figures and arrows.

As a perfect companion to Kisba, my geometric Sans Serif Flink owns the same cap height. That way, you can set uppercase letters next to each other very easily.

Maipo Sans is a modern typeface inspired by the mountain landscape of Cajón del Maipo, Chile. Its
forms are inspired by the first sans serif European Humanist fonts of the twentieth century along with a touch of reverse contrast. This typeface is specially designed for projects using extensive text blocks and striking ads.
Maipo Sans puts a careful focus in the interpolation; therefore it gains expressiveness as its weight
increases. That is why it has moderate and functional forms in its thinner weights, while in his heavier variants it gains freshness and sympathy.
To make it more complete, this family has a complete Stencil Version with a lot of character and power.
Maipos Sans is composed by 40 styles, 826 glyphs and Small Caps.
Besides, it has powerful OpenType features for each style, including stylistic sets, extended language
support, ligatures, contextual alternates, lining figures, oldstyle figures, arrows, fractions,
superscripts, subscripts and many more.

Option is a modern condensed sans serif. Inspired by geometric architectural fonts. But despite the geometric construction every single letter was build based on optical evaluation. This approach makes Option more organic and lively in a text line. Option was created for wide spaces. Condensed and thin, but extremely sweeping vertically font makes your massage elegance and strong. The font functions great in many sizes and surroundings.
The family comes in one weights plus italics. Creating of bold weight is underway. Options supports Cyrillic as well.

A Tokeh (or ‘Tokay’) is a nocturnal arboreal gecko, native to Asia and some Pacific Islands. The name comes from the sound it makes.
Tokeh font is a cute brush font, which comes with some swashes, alternates and ligatures.

Junglegym provides a playful structure for an energetic project. Climb on and see what you can do! Junglegym family includes regular and bold and ensures extra movement with discretionary ligatures, including double letters and a handful of others to keep play lively.

I love learning new words. I stumbled upon the term Gingerline after I named an older font Gamboge. Like Gamboge, Gingerline is a name for a shade of orange - the color of ripe kumquats to be precise. Didn’t know that!

Gingerline font is a handmade calligraphy font; nice and even, thick and thin and quite elegant if I may say so. Comes with an abundance of diacritics as well.

Newbery Sans is a new contrasted sans serif designed by Alejandro Paul and the Sudtipos team. As Paul has lately found inspiration from different German instructional books, Newbery Sans finds its initial inspirations from the lettering work of E. Nerdinger and invokes the spirit of German designs but is imbued with personality all its own.

The idea was to make the letterforms more usable and suitable for everything from corporate branding to editorial. It is an elegant, functional family with contemporary detail that will effortlessly meet the demands of the screen and printed page. From a condensed thin to an expanded black, Newbery Sans provides a usable workhorse system of three widths and seven weights, each with the original design of real italics, a selection of alternate glyphs and a complete set of small caps. Each weight is professionally crafted and includes extended Latin support for Central, East and Western Europe languages. The font’s name nods to its imagined uses in airports and street signage: Jorge Newbery was one of the first Latin American aircraft pilots, Newbery is the street where I live and it is also the name of Buenos Aires’s local airport.

Mezalia Sans is a logical continuation of the Mezalia family. Its shapes are based on medieval calligraphic style: the Bastarda. This time the evolution is taken a step further, as these classic shapes are merged with the straightforwardness of a modern sans-serif. This results in an original, strong yet very much usable typeface, that can hold its own in a wide range of applications.

Mezalia Sans has two distinct styles: straight and cursive (true italic if you will, although the word is not really correct here), which come in ten weights, from thin to black. This wide range ensures that whether you are looking for delicate or bold strokes (or a combination of both) you will be satisfied. Every style also contains a set of small caps (with matching punctuation). Old-style, proportional and tabular numerals are included too, along with ligatures, symbols and language support in Adobe Latin 3 range.

I made this font using my index finger and Chinese ink. I thought the ink would come off easily, but I can tell you: it doesn’t. I have been walking around with a black stained finger for a week now and I do get strange looks from people every so often…
Fingerfood, of course, is hand made. It is a rather playful font - all caps, but lower and upper case differ and like to mingle. Comes with a full diacritics palette.
